If you use Tik Tok, then chances are you have seen some of these terms thrown around by various content creators, so it’s probably helpful to have a quick list for reference.

- Hashtag Challenge – this is where users create and participate in challenges using specific hashtags. It’s like a talent show with specified topics.
- Fyp (For You Page) – the page where Tik Tok recommends personalized videos to users based on their interests and activities. FYI, everyone has Fyp.
- Reel – a reel is a short video feature on Tik Tok where users can showcase their creativity through lip syncing, dancing, comedy, and more. Think of an old demo reel for performers, but here you have a Tik Tok channel to highlight, well… Tik Tok.
